The best, and most reliable, red bell peppers for northern gardeners with a short, cool growing season. These sturdy plants bear heavy yields of blocky, thick-walled peppers that ripen from green to red. Uniform, 3 – 4 lobed large fruits have a great sweet flavor and are excellent for stuffing, sautéing, or eating fresh. Can be harvested and eaten at any color stage, although they are sweetest once fully red.
