Although not a true cucumber, these are also known as Kiwano or African Horned Cucumber. Long vines produce an abundance of these unusual thorny fruits that are filled with lots of seeds and lime-green gel. The flavor is similar to citrus and pomegranate, and are very high in Vitamin C.
