Description
Golden Pothos, also known as Devil’s Ivy, is one of the most popular and easiest houseplants to care for mostly because of their refusal to die. A very forgiving plant that easily tolerates infrequent watering and low-light conditions, Pothos is a great addition to any plant family. Golden Pothos is a robust climber, though they won’t naturally vine along a wall or trellis, you can easily train them to grow where you want. The heart-shaped green leaves with yellow variegation are beautiful in a hanging basket or in a pot on a shelf where the vines can hang freely.
Pothos can tolerate a variety of lighting conditions from bright, indirect light to low light/partial shade. The color variegation on the leaves becomes more pronounced in brighter light, but they do not like to be in direct sunlight.
Pothos like the soil to dry out between waterings, so forgetting to water them is not a problem. They will actually tell you when they are ready to be watered, you can tell when the leaves start to curl inward and look droopy. If the leaves start to shrivel you’ve waited too long and may lose some leaves on the vine leaving bare spots.
You will receive a 2.2 inch starter pot with 2 to 3 vines that will quickly fill in a larger pot after tranplanting.
